With Metápolis, MIT Center for Bits and Atoms, I2CAT and the School of Design Elisava

The Media House project is the result of a strategic partnership between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the group Metápolis of Barcelona and the Polytechnic Foundation of Catalonia, with the collaboration of I2CAT consortium and the School of Design Elisava. The goal is to unite their respective potential in order to build a prototype of an information home.

The metapolis architects have developed an information structure, which incorporates in a single element of the physical structure, the electricity network and the data network, allowing a dynamic and configurable access between entities (people, objects, space, limits , networks and content) and to create a livable environment.
